EP 257 – Sales Lessons From Essendon’s Loss…..

Here’s a powerful insight I’ve gleaned from the Pies’ victory over the Bombers yesterday afternoon:
Just because you’ve worked hard to achieve a particular result does not mean that you are entitled to that result.
It’s inevitable that sometimes (or often!) things just aren’t going to go your way.
The issue is not that there was an obstacle in your way (because obstacles are 100% inevitable).
 The issue is that you didn’t approach/respond to the obstacle correctly.
And that’s ok!
Own it, analyse it, learn from it. Move on.
Today I’ll be applying this wisdom in the context of both sales and footy.
